Default Quake Live Movie - Demos

Hey, I'm going to start working on a vid project for quake live called The Rush, basically I'm hoping to get numerous players from the game in it.

This is just a short teaser I made this basically to show that I actually know what I'm doing (to some extent).

Due to this rubbish monitor I kinda had to make it 4:3, I do however, when I get a new monitor which will be near to Christmas, intend to have the final movie in either 720p or 1080p, depending on what the filesize will be when I run render tests etc.

Below is a link to the post I made on ESR, including is a stream from own3D, however I do recommend you download the video from filefront instead as the own3D version is of a bad quality for some reason.

http://esreality.hexus.net/?a=post&id=1758792

Info:
Resolution: 800x600, 50FPS
Codec: x264
Duration: 00:46
Frags by: en3rgy, venice (ql id's)
Music: Sonic Mayhem - Always Outnumbered, never Outgunned

I am aware that the skins need to different, in the movie ill use white keels. Also I do need to speak to someone with good knowledge of quake live movie configs and colour correction. The colour seen in that video is not terrible its just not up to the standard I want it to be (GQ3, rancour etc).

The sort of frags I'm after are the usual; rocket airs (nice single ones, double, triple), double or triple rails, rail flicks, grenade airs, lg/pg juggles, quad runs etc. Im sure you know the sort of vid quality shots.

Obviously due to the lack of freecamming (q3mme) it wont be as cinematic as the likes of GQ3, but saying that numerous quake 3 movies have been very good with minimal freecamming.

My quake live ID is: en3rgy

For demos send them in the following format:

'name_fragtype_shottime.dm_73'
Also make sure the timer is set to count up

e.g.
en3rgy_2xrocket_0553.dm_73

You can send them to 'en-3-rgy@hotmail.co.uk'

Dude, 720p is gonna be huge, and 1080p is gonna be gigantic. I would like to see multiple versions for downloading, if you can. But don't strain yourself trying to render and upload it at 1080p. It would be nice to see it at 1080p, though.

Hence the render tests , 720p your looking at 40+mb/m, there will definitely be a 720p version, and probably something along the lines of 960*540 also. But probably only 2 versions as rendering motion blur in after effects takes ages

Not to mention that at such high resolutions, it's harder on the eyes with lower framerates. So you're looking at instead of it being 25 fps with motion blur, you're looking at a framerate of at least 30, plus motion blur. Good luck with the video, man. I'll send in a few demos, too. What's your standard among consecutive rail hits?
