    Quake live in CHROME

    Saving this before the google cache deletes it.

    Quakelive has worked in chrome for quite a while now, it's jsut officially unsupported.

    All you need to do to bypass the javacript check is go to quakelive.com, then in the address bar of your browser, clear the line, and then paste in :

    Code:
    javascript:quakelive.IsCompatibleBrowser = function(meh) { return true }
    and hit enter, then enter your login details.

    Or you can just change your browser user agent to firefox temporarilly when you log in (This works for Chrome, or Opera 10.6 )

    Alternatively using the firefox with the Prism extension is still a great way to play, or the Firefox 4 beta and nightly pre builds also work.

    The fact that it's been possible is beside the point now. It's compatible. That's all that matters. Move on.

    The fact that they made QL incompatible with Chrome over a simple friends list issue is ********.

    It was always listed as a non certified browser for QL (try at your own risk). No reason to complain..
