I've managed to search for a .vhud file scattered on my hdd somewhere. It worked, imported and downloaded the hud again.
now I can play in peace again.
edit: is it just me, or the "item pickup times" isn't working properly. to be correct..it's not working at all.

don't get it. what is "item pickup times"? all extra stuff that can be toggled on canvas isn't customizable HUD elements. appearance of these items are configured with console. try cg_drawItemPickups and make sure that it doesn't equal to 0.

I made a HUD last night and when I chose to download my creation it spit out a file entitled download.php. Should it not be producing a file with a .cfg extension? I'm not sure what I could possibly be doing wrong since I see no other logical way to get my hands on my creation outside of hitting the download button lol :~)
I was unable to do anything with the file it gave me; not even open it due to the file extension.
Please advise. Thanks in advance.

you should have got a .zip file, with 4 files in it:
.cfg .html .menu .vhud
were you using netscape or ie?

Thanks for the suggestion; Firefox worked fine last night. Although I don't really know how the browser I use impacts the file type I get lol.
