Connot bind mouse wheel properly

It doesnt seem possible to bind mouse wheel up and down to actions when usign the ingame menu.

I have binded mousewheel up to rockets but now cannot bind anything to mousewheel down.
Teh problem is reversed when binding mousewheel down 1st.

I use Logitech G9 and usign the setpoint 5.30.39 driver version 4.90.80
Windows 7 ultimate 64bit
Firefox 3.6.8

I have the same Problem, I can not bind MWHEELDOWN to anything. Neither ingame nor in settings menu.

using Standard Logitech Mouse with Cable (can't read the id tag any more) with standard windows driver

I think this is an old Q3A bug that never really got fixed in QL. Try creating a CFG file with the MWHEELUP and MWHEELDOWN binds as a workaround.

Works if you input
\bind MWHEELUP "+command"
or
\bind MWHEELDOWN "+command"

You can get a list of valid commands if you enter \cvar_list
