Aways ensure you are maintaining a high FPS rate in QL. Otherwise you can be at a big disadvantage. To find out your current fps rate, use the command: "set cg_drawfps "1"".

Hey, I stopped playing QL cause of school and personal issues, not cause I stopped liking it.

I'd give id some money if they change QL's business model - make all maps and gametypes free to play for everyone. Subscriptions would be only for hosting, more convenience (stats graphs etc.) and cosmetic stuff (hats!).

it stands to reason that if you play the game, enjoy the game, keep coming back to play it regularly, then yes, you should pay for it.
Unfortunately, 'I CAN PLAY THIS SHI*T FOR FREE, SO WHY PAY?' gets in the way of reason.

The "personal problems" bit is that I've apparently been running around with mild depression for the last few years. I don't really have the motivation to do anything like play video games. Started on meds this monday, but it apparently takes about a month before you notice any effect.
