New UI freezes firefox intermittenly

The new UI causes firefox to lag and freeze for about 6 seconds on my machine. This did not happen with the old UI, and seems to be related to the loading bar at the top of the screen. Whenever the loading bar animates, firefox freezes up.

If I try to close firefox, windows says it is not responding. Does not happen in-game, and doesn't seem to affect anything else. Still, incredibly annoying.

i was having similar behavior earlier today, but don't recall having it last night right after the update

never seen it do this before.
I have noscript installed, but QL is whitelisted, and I double checked all scripts are allowed for QL

add: it doesn't affect ability to join and play, but makes navigation on the site difficult to say the least

I get this also, it uses lots of CPU even browsing the forums now it can spike upto 50%. it is definantly releated to the "loading" bar as noted in ealier post.

It freezes everytime the match listings refresh, which makes browsing for a match almost unbearable.

Fixed a problem where certain browsers would complain about "Scripts running too slow" when browsing QUAKE LIVE. This was in large part due to the quantity of game servers that were being displayed to the client in the Match Browser, so we've reduced the maximum number of matches that can be visible at a time in the Match Browser to 50.
