    Making movies on Mac

I run Quake through Wine, and it works fine. I can record demos, and I get dm_90 files.

Is there any way I can convert these to videos? I'd like to actually record the demos themselves, as I've tried just playing them back and using a screenrecorder, but it doesn't work. (Screen recorder doesn't capture unless not fullscreen). Tried ScreenFlow and QuickTime.

In short: Can I get videos from dm_90 files on a Mac using WC or something like it.

Thank you! (Haven't tried it yet, guessing it will work)

Ok, I've used the default (managed to get the TGAs), because I want 120fps (managed to get it sorted).

I haven't yet found an equivalent to Virtualdub for Mac for what I want to use it for (something that converts TGA sequence to AVI). I tried using Wineskin, but crashes when trying to load the TGA sequence. I'm going to try ffmpeg soon, I'll report back.

Can't find a solution with FFMPEG (I'm a newb using it), all the forums say 'use VirtualDub' :/

I'd like to try on the computers at school, but I think It'll be hard transporting 70 gigs of photos, even with a portable HDD (which I don't have )

I'd start by having a look at
http://www.videolan.org/vlmc/ (I haven't actually tried this for anything yet but it comes from great lineage)
    and
http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/download.html (I've used this for conversion in the past)
    finally
http://www.blender.org/ (is an awesome program, but complex to learn)

I managed to succeed using avidemux. Good luck to the other Mac users out there that have found this thread
