    I don't have shadows with fullbright 1 either, but I don't like how it looks.

    Which is the config for the 2nd screenshot I took. If I could have this look the same without shadows I'd use it but don't think it's possible, but by all means try if you want to. :p

    just do r_vertexlight 0 and r_fullbright 1 you will get no shadows with whatever picmip etc that u had in that screenshot 2. Adjust dynamic lightning accordingly and stuff to get it similar to r_vertexlight 1.
