Disable friend online messages

@ox what you mean, isn't the same - the popups outside the game can be disabled, just not the actual in-game notifications which genuinely annoy the **** out of people once they have it.

might be totally unrelated, but from what i remember this only started after the last windows update, it always screws something up imo

Better idea... implement a cvar that can disable it or enable it anytime you want, removing it'll annoy some people. And what's this thread doing in Bug Report Forum?
