Put the game up on steam and make it use a free2play model like dota2, lol, cs:go to get more players in the game! We need more players and more popularity!

6% is not tiny, those are thousands of people affected.

Just think that out of every 16 people you met in game today, 1 will be gone when this goes live.

    No Linux support?!?

Steam is switching to Linux with lot of effort and you have a game that run just fine on Linux and drop the support?!?
    Please re-think your decision.

I didn't played Q3 recently, but only because I have issues with my internet connection. Knowing I'll not be able to play it, ever is sad. This has been my favorite game since when I was a kid.

Hope you'll get back on that decision.

How about releasing it in Steam in free-to-play section?

Dropping/changing current premium membership system that fragments community to a microtransaction system with cosmetic items?

    Adding duel ladder?

As I noticed, QL didn't got much updates to plugin itself so these changes might change something greatly. I hope anti-wall-hack will be implemented (when players can see through walls by wall texture hacking. In other words developers will make server never send coordinates of invisible players) and big changes will come to game. I'd hope to see something coming from Rage gameplay (as FPS, not as from racing game in any way!), but still wish it will remain free.

I wish to see more detailed particles (on high settings), gore (as it was in Quake 3), ragdolls (which will make it fresh and modern relative to today's free online FPS games) and never detect hats on neither players nor your rocket launcher.

But Quake Live will remain best online FPS in any way! Good luck, we believe in you guys!

Surely you realize that FireFoxInDesguise uses the plugin which won't work after the standalone is released?
