    Norton 360 blocks Quake Live

When I try to start a game, my Norton antivirus blocks it. Now I've been trying to figure out if I can unblock the particular Quake site, but no luck so far.

Anyone else had this problem and if so, could you help me out?
Any advice is welcome, because I'm dying to play!

    Cheers

You are sure it's Norton blocking it right?

I used Norton in the past..I think its a Pain in the Butt..Allways had problems with what he is describing. I dont use Norton anymore or any of the others. Waste of money in my opinion. There are others out there that give the same results with out all the hassle. This is just my experience with The Big Box Virus Protection Software..

Just go Norton -> Settings -> Firewall -> Program Control tab
Click "Add", then select Quake Launcher in the Quake Live folder. That's it!

Or Add/Remove Programs > Norton > Uninstall and use a real antivirus. xD

I've always had much better experiences with the Avast/Avira & Malware Bytes combo.
