    Did my monitor die on me?

    I take it does that even with the computer off or disconnected?

    Yeah, it loads up normally when I turn on my laptop cause its connected to the monitor. Then after a few seconds it just get stuck like that, even if I unplug it and plug it back in it still does it.

    Capacitor died probably, easy fix as long as you know your way around a soldering gun. Disconnect power and open it up, look for a capacitor with the top sticking out, that is the dead one. The good capacitors will be flat. Also make sure you buy a replacement capacitor with equal or greater voltage, and equal uF. There are a bunch of guides on google/youtube.

    I've fixed two of my monitors by replacing the blown capacitors, and they were doing the same thing as yours.
