    Question question

hello I attached a photo of evil's screen on quakecon. which command does those two black lines on screen sides? I believe its someting about ratio ? because I have a big screen so I would like to have my gameplay minimized a little bit, but at the same time playing fullscreen.

I use desktop resizing through nvidia control panel. Works like a charm.

+1 and settings that your monitor might have

hey chibers avoid recent nvidia drivers -> https://forums.geforce.com/default/t...dback-thread-/

Some users are reporting stability issues after upgrading their drivers to display driver branches R319_00 and above (i.e. R320.18, R320.49, R326.19, etc.). Fixes for some of these issues have been included with driver 320.49 and the latest 326.41 however we are still working to resolve all user issues. This thread is to capture information that can help us resolve all of the issues affecting stability in desktop use and games that some users are reporting. For normal bug submissions, please continue to report these in our main feedback thread:

well if I do it manually, only one of the sides is ok, another is covered. Basiclly it gets to fully stretched on my screen, so I am looking for something like "scaling fixed aspect ratio". Either in nvidia settings or quake console.

You probably have that option on your monitor, check the menu and look for "Size&Position" or something like that, then you get different options and one of them should be "Image Size". On my monitor options for Image Size are either <auto> or <wide>, you should select <auto>.

It happens automatically if you use a 4:3 resolution (800x600 for example) on a widescreen monitor in fullscreen mode.
