in game ad, faceit.com, ok i'm checking it out, and

searching faceit.com and youtube . Seems to only show euro players playing 3on3 CA.

where are the American and Canadian players ?.

i would think there might be a few Americans playing. A Cdn or 2. Where are the videos ?

I don't know euro players or teams, i wanna see just one player i've heard of in a vid on Faceit.com from the US or Canada.

If all the americans and canadians lost already, where are the vids ?

i want to see the team that beat out kgb.

If you are talking about the "FACEIT Clan Arena 3v3 Road to Quakecon", I think it's only held in Europe so I wouldn't expect teams from North America. Anyway, you can always search for past broadcasts there :

    http://www.twitch.tv/faceittv/profile/pastBroadcasts

... but you'll probably only see NA players in the Na duel cups streamed there. You can look there for more information on FaceIt's events :

Are you sure you were not thinking of Fatal1ty's Pre-Quakecon 3vs3 CA Tournament? That has nothing to do with FaceIt as far as I know. Anyway, the brackets are there :

    http://challonge.com/QCON_CA

You can find more info there :

And you should find videos there :

thx for the links. Yes, i did think the ads i was seeing in game were a ladder to a qcon final. So i was searching/looking to see who was playing win/loss. Upon seeing No One i ever heard of.....

Now that is cleared up for me, why is ql showing me ads for euro players (faceit.com) on US/Cdn servers. I don't care. Please remove the ads from American and Canadian servers for a Euro tourney. I don't care to see. For the very same reason i don't check the weather forecast there. I just don't care.

Can i enter this euro tourney from Toronto Canada ?. Nope, turn it off.

The ads are not per server location nor per user location. Location used to be a criteria with the two or three ad companies that QL dealt with (and which all went bankrupt if I'm not mistaken) but now it's handled differently and, with this method, I think all users are forced to have the same ads. So yeah, you'll have to endure them. Anyway, it has value even for non-Europeans because anyone can watch the streams. Thousands do.

Faceit holds multiple tournaments in NA as well and each day. You can enter those from Toronto. So what's the problem?

Actually, you can enter any EU tournament if you wish, just like many Euros play in the NA tournaments lately (grinding Faceit points).

In-game ads aren't targeted to locations anymore, they are everywhere or nowhere. That doesn't matter much in this case as they do offer North American ladders, and the CA matches were streamed to a worldwide audience.

They are being replaced with general QuakeCon ads this week, although European players shouldn't worry about the ads being irrelevant to them, as they will be able to watch the streams too.
