    Not OP, but does compressing the avi give better video quality than using an encoder? I've always used Virtual Dub to combine tga and wav files uncompressed* to create the avi, but later used MeGUI x264 encoder to compress and convert them to an mp4 with a bitrate of my own choice..

    Handbrake works fantastic at this (Using the uncompressed avi)

    So does handbrake replace the need to use vdub completely? All I need to do is use handbrake to convert the avi's from wolfcam then drop my files into vegas and continue with megui?

    One other thing. What are some of the better settings to use on handbrake so I get a nice final video?
