2 black parts on side

i used fraps to record a demo from wolfcam to convert the file (well just to get the same thing in the appropriate youtube settings, and i put it in sony vegas to trim it a little, but i noticed there are to black coloumns on the side, does anybody now how to get rid of these? i am not sure if it is frap/wolfcam/sony vegas,

Try matching the resolution of the video with Sony Vegas, and make sure the video has Maintain Aspect Ratio and Disable Resample enabled. Also, I think youtube converts the video to 16:9 aspect ratio so if the raw video is 4:3 you get black bars on the sides
