Ping issues. help needed

ive been having ping issues, i usually play on servers close by to me (united states, canada) and most of the time my ping is around 25 - 100 but lately ive seen my ping shoot up way high like 150 - 190. also more lag/ping spikes have been happening 2 me as well. does anyone know how to resolve this and make my ping normal again? any advice would be much appreciated.
