    Exactly The numbers are not visible because of forecolor transparency set to 0.

    You mean the rotating 3d one?

    That is evoked with ownerdraw CG_PLAYER_ARMOR_ICON

    You can find its texture in models/powerups/armor/newyellow.png or newred.png, but that does not evoke a rotating 3d model.

    armor_icon appears to ignore addColorRange, or it cannot be made part of the background in such a way that addcolorRange can render it transparent.

    No, I mean the 2D png/tga file.
