I saw a movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2V9rxQRL4o with awesome effects. How do you get stuff like this ingame? Explosions, particle effects with lightning gun on the ground etc. Also in this video at 0:22 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soEzj601He0 he had the old Q3 splatter/gore effects.
you can not get this in game it's a wolfcam script
so it is only for replays?
no it is only when you replay a demo in wolfcam it has nothing to do with ql it self

Wolfcam is a stand alone program used for viewing demos and capturing video. That being said, there are a lot of scripts, skins, and other settings that you can incorporate into wolfcam that you cannot do with QL.
That's why you see all these gnarly effects in movies yet can't access them in-game.
