    Question Need help with custom xhair

    Was 1680x1050, now is 1920x1080. Forgot to mention that, sorry

    Two things would help:

    1. Can you post a .tga screenshot of the way the hud cross looks now. To take a .tga, bind [key] "screenshot"

    2. Can you loosely describe what the difference is between how this cross showed up at 1680 and how it shows up now?

    I find it rather odd the way this is constructed, like for example the white part is made with 3 pieces when only 2 should be necessary.

    There's an odd number of black/grey/light grey pixels/boxes, like 5 for each, and 3 pixels/boxes of light-ish grey.

    Could this possibly be easier if try to make the xhair a little bigger overall?

    Oh well... actually, the first version you posted was closest to being correct (second one is very messed up) and the bottom "extra black space" is now gone. Due to mess with multiple .menu files I gave you feedback based on the wrong .menu file. My bad, Lorfa

    Can you post .tga screenshots of those attempts (identify them somehow).

    I have no way of testing 1920, I tried windowed but it won't screenshot the whole screen.

    It should be something like x * 0.33333333 and y * 0.44444444444 for every pixel value going from 640x480 to 1920x1080, but this is different because it's going from 640x480 -> 1680x1050 -> 1920x1080. So I was looking to subtract the difference between corrections for 1680 vs. 1920.

    Actually I think that's the mistake I made on the last one, I changed the y values the same as the x.

    A screenshot would help though. It helps much more than a cropped one because I can verify what the center pixels are with an actual screenshot so I can make sure everything is aligned properly.
