Request for a cvar "/cg_trueGrenade"
The problem with grenades is that the animation is not a true representation of the trajectory. This causes confusion when you see characters jump through the grenades without getting hit. It also makes it harder to know where to aim.
Here is an illustration:
The grenade goes both left and right of the straight line in the middle of the screen.
To resolve the issue, we would need a new animation, which would better match the grenade's trajectory and hit-cylinder.
This problem is similar to the issue that "/cg_trueShotgun" resolved. If you don't know what that's all about:
On the left is the true shotgun blast circle; on the right is a lie to make it look "prettier" (currently default).

Not only that but the grenades themselves aren't really indicative of their hit boxes.
I've never actually noticed that until now. O.O
