Help with head droop
It's very weird and hard to describe.
I recently deleted QuakeLive completely and reinstalled. It's running much better now, except for one weird issue; When I am bunny hopping at high speeds, when I hit the ground and go to jump again, it's like the player.....crouches ever so slightly. It's similar to falling from high up and when you land your model crouches a little before standing all the way back up.
I've never seen this before in QL, and it's making timed jumps more difficult, and it feels very very weird.
Should I just nuke my config files again? Am I just suffering from brain cancer and just imagining it?
Can you show a demo of this? Otherwise I'd say it's probably the last part. :P
I don't see how a demo is going to help you, if it doesn't happen on your computer, then a demo won't show you anything. I'd have to fraps record it I guess?
Just do a quick test for me, go in game on Campgrounds. Go to top RL, and just jump down. When you hit the ground do you just stop or does your camera drop a few inches then go back up?

Oh, it might be cg_kickscale -- try setting that to 0

Otherwise fraps it. Just letting you know that you can fraps it and then just upload the raw file to youtube and it will encode it for you. You can have the vid be unlisted and just give us the link. Make sure to crank up the brightness is all, youtube encoding makes things dark :-/
