I like aiming with SG, it's similar to twitch rail shots but with much higher chance to register a hit. I use sg crosshair size that covers all the pellets, this helps too see how precise you have to aim and what is the effective distance for sg.

    thx. From my cfg
    Code:
    set w1 "weapon 1; cg_crosshairSize 8 ;cg_crosshairBrightness 1.0;lgOff"
    set w2 "weapon 2; cg_crosshairSize 18;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.8;lgOff"
    set w3 "weapon 3; cg_crosshairSize 90;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.4;lgOff"
    set w4 "weapon 4; cg_crosshairSize 32;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.8;lgOff"
    set w5 "weapon 5; cg_crosshairSize 32;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.8;lgOff"
    set w6 "weapon 6; cg_crosshairSize 32;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.8;lgOn"
    set w7 "weapon 7; cg_crosshairSize 32;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.8;lgOff"
    set w8 "weapon 8; cg_crosshairSize 32;cg_crosshairBrightness 1.0;lgOff"
    set w9 "weapon 9; cg_crosshairSize 32;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.8;lgOff"
    set w10 "weapon 10;cg_crosshairSize 32;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.8;lgOff"
    set w11 "weapon 11;cg_crosshairSize 30;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.8;lgOff"
    set w12 "weapon 12;cg_crosshairSize 32;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.8;lgOff"
    set w13 "weapon 13;cg_crosshairSize 64;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.5;lgOff"
    set w14 "weapon 14;cg_crosshairSize 32;cg_crosshairBrightness 0.8;lgOff"
I have sg at 90. Similar adjustments can be made for other weapons with spread - mg, chaingun, nailgun.

Maybe with custom hud it would be possible to visualize every individual sg pellet position, but idk if it's allowed.
