Tiers in duel are next to meaningless. The QLRanks Elo rating is a much better indicator. Get the script or QLPrism so you can see your and other players' Elo while in-game to give you a better idea of the matchups.

    EDIT: FYI - http://www.qlranks.com/duel/player.a...e=ArenaWarrior
You're beating 1050 players and losing to 1300+ players, so you're current level of 1160 is in the right ballpark. But it'll become more accurate as you duel more. And knowing the values will help you avoid some lopsided matches.

It isn't possible to search by Elo anywhere, except browsing through QLRanks - but that's not effective because without clicking on everyone and drilling down, it's impossible to tell if they're active or not, or where they usually play.

Check out the new qlm bot thing. I haven't heard any great success stories yet with it, but it seems like a good idea for finding duelers: http://www.esreality.com/?a=post&id=2378237

Also, you can hang out on IRC channels as well, though someone else will have to point you to the right ones for duel in your area.

Go to the #qlranks channel on QuakeNet and type "!findduel <your elo>". The bot will respond with a server link that is closest to your own ELO (no location filter, though).

Otherwise, one proven method to find opponents is just to friend people that are at similar skill level to your own. QLranks can also help here with its in-game ELO announcer.

    ArenaWarrior, nice TS practice yesterday
    VG278HE@120Hz@LightBoost + EC2evo + G-TF speed + Lycosa+ SS Siberia v2

QL doesn't need more tiers, it needs more players (С)
