You should contact SyncError on IRC (look for him in #quakelive on QuakeNet).

I would reccomend contacting Sponge instead, syncerror didnt answer my pm's on IRC and he sure as hell didnt answer my emails either, once i got a hold of sponge on IRC and got to put the host1 guys in touch with him it wasnt more than a day and voilą, norwegian servers

they demand a 64 bit debian box with root if im not mistaken.

Hello, dear admin, I would like to report my experience on the norwegian servers.

The routing of the host (norwegian server host) is not optimal / ideal. Ontop of this, they also suffer from lag issues. This is based on the fact that everybody get intermitent lag spikes simultaniously (everybody gets lag spikes at the same time). I have also tested on other servers, I do not lag at all on swedish servers.

The host also has a mere 5-6ms to Norwegian internet exhange point, which is considered less than ideal for a gaming server.
Servers located in Oslo with hosts on fiber connections, usualy ping sub 1ms.

I suggest changing the host for the norwegian servers, since the routing is less than ideal, so is the ping, coupled with the lag spikes which occur everyday at all times.

I could ask Catch-gaming if they would be willing to host, since they are known to host quake and other servers. As well as battlefield (hosted by nextgentel), these are known for good game server hosts.
