How to use LG when an enemy take a jumppad?

Do you still have to aim with the movement keys?

Well, if you mean a situation where both of you are at the base of the jumppad but the enemy takes the jumppad, then you cant use only movement keys. You have to use the mouse in order to look up. What I tend to do, however, is take distance to the jumppad when I start tracking with lg because it means you have to move your mouse less, and not as quickly.

It depends on the exact situation.

However if you keep the mouse still and your lg is at an angle above 0°, moving forward and backward will have the effect of moving the lg beam's impact point up and down respectively.

The player speed upwards and downwards in an arc typical of a jump pad lift is often faster at some points (usually in the ascending stage) than the walking speed of 320 u/s, so some mouse movement would be required for the perfect aiming motion.

Using the movement keys also has the potential benefit of dodging enemy shots.

A great deal of good lightning gun aim involves finding the right combination of using the movement keys and the mouse.

this is my favorite frag. It's worth taking a buddy and practicing.

When they are in the air u hit them on the feet with the lg and run forward at the same time. This pushes them backwards quickly and u can pin them against a wall and they will fall super slow and u get mega damage. I refer to this as flying the kite.

Its a little tricky though because you have to move your mouse first up then down while strafing forward. With a little practice though it's one of the easiest frags and you will be waiting on people to hit the jump pads.

I <3 pushing people off Longest Yard when they try and jump pad up to the higher levels, they really can fly backwards a lot if you get a good lock.
