I would really love to be able to set more filters like you could in Q4. Like... I don't wanna see PQL servers at all, and I want to exclude this location and this location. Or only servers from these 3 locations. Etc. Would be nice.

I've wanted to be able to only show a certain amount of locations for a long time.

Would be nice to only have to see VA, IN, DC as an example, instead of those plus everything else in NA.

Exactly. Because "In My Vicinity" isn't exactly true since I live nowhere near the West coast... Don't really care showing servers that I ping 120 to.
