Beginner question - How to create custom match ?

I only play once in a while, but I would like to be able to create a match with a password.

I noticed there are 2 or 3 levels of payed premium membership.
Is the first cheaper level enough for that ?

And second question. Since sometimes I play a few days and sometimes I take a break for several months, can I stop the payment anytime ? And can I start anytime ?

1) You need a Pro membership in order to host / create matches.
2) Since a couple of months ago, you are now able to purchase a subscription in increments of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. you can cancel your reoccurring payment at any time. Therefor, you don't have to pay whether you're playing or not.
