A few things worth mentioning:

1) discussing hypothetical situations on non-existent maps in non-existent gametypes is a bit silly

2) "my accuracy is lower in CA than other modes" => "people's acc tends to get higher outside CA" is not valid nor logical reasoning

3) comparing accuracies between matches other than your own (and ones that you remember well) is hardly meaningful

4) bothering to consider RL acc in any of this is just plain ********.

1) Yeah, we already knew that :P
2) Um...if their accuracy was lower in just CA and higher in the rest, it's perfectly valid to say that the accuracy is higher outside of CA when there's actual stats to prove it.
3) It's a generalization; it's not meant to be 100% accurate, but it's supposed to give a general idea, which it does.
4) I never threw RL into the conversation; I believe somebody else was assuming that I was saying that the overall accuracy was lower specifically because of the rocket jumping (I meant every weapon)

The only evidence you have for that is anecdotal, and you are so far the only one I've ever seen claiming to have lower accuracy in CA than in other modes.

And it would likely be because that's what he used to play and he doesn't play it anymore. If he improved while playing, his accuracy increased with time. CA being the farthest in the past for him, it's also supposed to be the one with the less accuracy.

The change was literally as soon as I stopped playing CA. My accuracy nearly went up a single percentage in a week after having not played CA at all during the week. Since then it's steadily been rising.

I have 6 thread diversion signs left in my pack My slightly tangential point was that you use different weapons in different modes and use them differently. I rarely use RL in CTF, preferring LG and RG cos I mostly end up on def or mid. TDM and FFA (to a lesser extent) force you to get the best out of every weapon, wheras in CA you can specialise. Or something.
