of course we are talking hypotheticaly because it would require perfect teamwork
That being said, the plasma is an extremely close second best and machinegun still wins. Why ? because when a player is out of bounds of the Lg range the machinegun is still extremely accurate and so, the Team can anihilate One target at a time faster because of the speed of the projectile and because of the accuracy.
I disagree. The rail wins in this case. if you have a few people that can hit even 30% rg and the other team cannot, they will lose almost every time.
From that distance i would welcome 3 people shooting at me with the mg. I'm likely going to kill all of them with the rg. the mg loses accuracy over distance.
Yeah, compared to mg, railgun is probably the better choice. However, it all depends on what the timeframe is that this hypothetical situation is. I said plasma would win all the time *only* because of the dps. I'd personally say that RL would be the best to actually use, because it's spammable (Yes, I understand I was arguing against spam earlier, that's not the point ;P) and does a decent amount of damage.

There is no self damage therefore a player can move faster than any other game modes.
this is the only reason the machinegun is better than railgun because if your first machinegun shot misses... well .... the next 15 will before a rg has time to reload.
btw stowner it only works if you have + than 5 teammates shooting at ONLY one target at a time.
sounds like an impossible strategy but an interesting one .

It's all hypothetical though and therefore wouldn't matter 99% of the time. Unless there was a specific situation including the timeframe, accuracies of the weapons per player in this specific fight, etc, then it can't really come down to a specific other than "Plasma gun will probably win" simply because it has the highest dps.

you only have the choice to use the plasma gun or the machinegun ...
and you can only shoot outside the Lg range ...
youre saying the plasma gun wins simply because it has the highest dps ?
I'm saying that in any situation with any gun, unless there's restraints on the situation, then plasma gun *will* show as the best weapon

well yes of course.
i would love to find a team and try new stuff in ca tho .
A few things worth mentioning:
1) discussing hypothetical situations on non-existent maps in non-existent gametypes is a bit silly
2) "my accuracy is lower in CA than other modes" => "people's acc tends to get higher outside CA" is not valid nor logical reasoning
3) comparing accuracies between matches other than your own (and ones that you remember well) is hardly meaningful
4) bothering to consider RL acc in any of this is just plain ********.
