There is at least one mechanical USB keyboard that has N-key rollover, the Noppoo Choc Mini. I don't know if there are any others that support it however, so it is most likely the exception to the rule. It's a very good keyboard BTW, although it does have some minor issues with Linux, and I believe it doesn't work with Macs at all.

CA with <16 slots is nothing.
The guide is very well written, however most quakers just play a couple times a week, say, on the weekend, and buying all this gear and tweaking isn't necessary for them.
