There's only one requirement to join for the coveted "Nyan-" tag. It's that your username must be cat-related in some way. And no, "my cat's name is <username>" does not count, sorry. The cat-relation has to be immediately recognizable by anyone speaking either English or your native language.

Some exceptions may be made if the result is really funny (and by "really funny" I mean "really funny to me"). So if the player dog reads this and wants to join, then sure.
