as far as I can see, it's completely individual, and have no systematical advantage in choosing high/low res.

QL doesn't need more tiers, it needs more players (С)
800x600 looks too blurry for me, 1024x768 with at least 4xAA is just right. Problem with high resolutions is micro-stuttering or increased input lag even when fps is at 125. Maybe it's just a feeling.

Damns, 1920*1200 feels smooth to me. Gotta try to lower it. Btw, can I lower res on LCD without having blur?

Ok, thanks, I'll maintain 16:10 and see if my Iiyama can adapt![]()

And what resolution is best for a FPS gamer and why?
Oh and also whats better tri linear setting or bi linear or something else in the graphics choice
1) Whatever works. It's a personal preference. I have a 1900x1080 monitor, so that's what I use.
2) I don't know whether you mean graphically or performance. I'm not 100% sure, but Google searching makes it seem like bilinear is better for performance and trilinear is better for graphics. (And Anisotropic is even better than Trilinear).
I'd also suggest reading through this.
