    Spawnpoints seeable on Warmup like in CPMA, Time on Warmup

    Hi,

    First:
    often, you have to wait pretty long (5min) until someone joins your Duel Server.

    It would be nice to see the spawnpoints in Warmup like in old CPMA.
    Or just do a green quake sign/Point for it
    Or spawning a not moving Keel/Bot who needs to get found and "fragged".
    So he respawns somewhere else.

    Maybe create a console command for it, to switch from off to on.


    Second thing I would like to suggest,
    how about a working timer for warmup? now its only 0:00 when you pickup anything.

    Would be nice to have a timer when server is empty, so you could practice timing when youre alone and waiting.

    This is better than spawnpoints. It shows all the spawns plus how the spawn system works.

    The bot solution is already available in the form of spawning several then freezing them as they spawn, all via console. Couldn't be bothered to google it up for you.

    I support both of these suggestions. I think for duel only a warmup timer makes sense.

    I also think a CVar for show spawn points on warmup for duel servers is a nice idea. The spawn points could be highlighted by a columb of green light. Alternatively, you could show the spawn points with a ghosted (semi-transparent), frozen, and non-clipped (players and projectiles pass through) enemy model.

    In my opinion these two suggestions would add a bit of extra polish to the duel game type.
