Question for Clan Arena players
Given the opportunity to think about the most cooperative fighting technique, when confronting in a 4 vs 1 situation, what weapon has the fastest frag potential at a full lg beam length ?
the reason i ask this is because it could be a good strategy to use for example : 4 ppl using shotgun on the nearest same target.
when used perfectly, the team can win 10 ca rounds pretty fast !

Four rails without a miss will deal 320 damage instantaneously so that would be the fastest. sg at that distance would probably deal less than 80 damage each. Now if the target survives because of spawn protection, the sg would probably be faster since you'll get a second wave of sg before a second wave of rg.
But yeah unless I misunderstood you, that seems more like an hypothetical situation for the sake of knowledge than something that could actually be used.

yes its hypothetical but it would be amazing to see perfectly coordinated gameplay like this in a ca match

I might add that if the target survives a 4x rail because of spawn protection, then sg may not be the best choice either... there are other weapons out there that won't deal a high burst of damage at t0 but which may be able to finish the target before a second wave of sg is available. Four streams of lg or plasma, four direct rockets (if 400 damage is enough if there's still spawn protection when they hit)...
Rockets could be the fastest if the spawn protection is gone when they reach the target or if 400 damage is enough otherwise.
On the other end, you have to wait for the rockets to reach and lightning guns could maybe deal enough damage before rockets reach their target.
Finally, plasma has a travel time too but it's fast and has a very high dps...
Yeah, I really don't know what would happen with spawn protection.

lol i was thinking the machinegun would maybe be the best weapon in a 7 vs 1 or 6 vs1 situation at a far distance ! i want to try this with my buddys
