    Left Handed Mice/Keyboard Setup

So I'm left handed and curious.

I usually place the mouse to the left of my (regular) keyboard
and use the arrow keys for movement with my right. Using the
G400 Logitech mouse, and mapped buttons to weapons ect..
Been using this in every game since the early days of Duke
    Nukem 1 and comes natural.

For surfing and at work I use it right handed. Ya
its different, but works for me. I throw right
    and write left.

If your left handed, whats your setup?
Do you see it as a disadvantage when playing?

I see disadvantage in binding weapons on mouse buttons. For example, when you switch from LG to RG for a finishing shot, moving fingers around mouse may affect your aim.
    VG278HE@120Hz@LightBoost + EC2evo + G-TF speed + Lycosa+ SS Siberia v2

QL doesn't need more tiers, it needs more players (С)

Not a problem for me, I have the shot gun for close encounters set to the keyboards
    right shift button.

I am left handed and I play with a righty setup.

I've often thought about switching and playing lefty but when I've tried it in the past I am so bad at moving and shooting that I quickly switch it back. I've played righty since I started playing video games.

Thanks for this thread for lefties by the way.

Any other lefties here play right handed?

Edit to add: If I did play left handed permenently I would probably use IJKL for movement in a similar fasion to how righties (and me currently) use WASD.

I'm not left handed, but if I was I would use something similar to wasd but okl; or pl;' instead.

The arrow keys have so few keys nearby to switch weapons and perform other functions with.

Sure, someone has to on the left side of things!

I'm sure there are more people who play left, there just still in the closet.

I guess that depends on the orientation of things.
I see the keyboard, while playing as right to left with my right hand,
so it's not an issue for me to hit any key naturally, and come right back.
I do have the mouse set for a couple of weapons, and it works.

That may seem weird, casue when I work, (Im a Systems Analyst) I type naturally
like everyone else with both hands.

Now if I can only get as good as I was over 8 years ago in Q3, but thats
    a different story....

Yes but your fingers must go a great distance to switch weapons, check accuracy, scores, walk, and crouch.

There is a disadvantage to that!
