Explains every single bit of reasoning I have had with the A&D mod (it's the first part)
The only issue with increasing the points for capturing (Or decreasing the elimination points, in this case) is that it would encourage the defenders to suicide if the enemy got the flag and appeared that they'd be getting a capture. I do agree that it'd make a bit more sense though.

Why CTF4 is bad
Yes I see you understand perfectly... that's on space maps though. .. it's encouraged to try to get the other team to kill you in certain situations... of course the other team is advised not to kill you.... the other team needs to know this, and it takes a lot of teamwork to get the cap on non space maps... the other flag carrier needs to be fast or else he might be caught up to. More of a benefit actually as it makes the team a team and not individuals

Haha, I guess you're right though to a certain extent, let's say you have teams filled with people who know what to do all the time (ME for example lol I just can't execute it)... Then on a map like vortex portal there will be no caps since everyone is jumping off... I guess maps where you can suicide don't make good maps, I have noted that for part 3... A great attack and defend team is one that knows how to avoid these situations in the first place on non-suicide maps...
Oh, I forgot to mention the funniest thing... There have been a few people who have tried to drown themselves in Troubled Waters before the enemy makes the cap... 0% success rate....
