Where and what FPS games did you first start playing online

Unreal Tournament '99 for me. Best game ever, its a pity that almost nobody plays it now...

My first multiplayer game online was return to Castle Wolfenstein on PC. Then played Counter-Strike 1.6. Also played some Wolfenstein Enemy Territory.

I remember a bunch of players from Unreal Tournament,I always wonder how many still kept playing up to today.

And then there were many of them that went to Quake Arena, I remember when the demo came out and I first seen those round health things in Q3

Well I guess here goes, my first post.
Think in about 07 I started playing Cube 2 or Sauerbraten as my very first FPS. Loads of fun and taught me a lot until 08 where I got HL2M from the still going free promotion. From then on I rolled on my PC gaming and picked up Quake Live about a year later due to similar style to Cube 2.
