Sounds Error?!!!

Will not let me play lots of maps because it sounds could not find sound. Then it gives me a long code! HELP ME!!!

Are you trying to load the map in practice or?

It is in both practice and online. I deleted all the quake data and re-installed it. That did not help the problem either.
