Disable option to stop autodownload of maps

It keeps downloading maps in background. That is bandwidth loss for both quake live server and clientside. Let it be on by default, but we need an option in settings to disable auto download of maps in background. If option already there pls let me know

Most maps are small in nature, most modern ISPs not still using ppp over dialup can deliver you both w/o a hickup, and I wouldn't be surprised if the servers themselves have QOS features to keep the gameplay higher priority than the download.

I believe when you first arrive it will download all the maps while you idle outside of the game at the server listings.

Also you could set the permissions the .pk3 folder write-denied. Then the game can't write to folder... but you would have to put out effort everytime it needs an update.
