Yeah, kinda lame question

How to get BFG on that level? There is fog of death on BFG's platform :<

You can walk down and then BFG/rocket/plasma jump/climb back out of it. It only damages you where the BFG is.

It's only fatal if you're low or if you're in the middle of a fight. Otherwise it's just slightly damaging from the fog.

Does the fog hurt you when you have the battlesuit?

You can't get a Battlesuit on Cold War (At least from what I could tell)

However, the fog does still hurt you if you're wearing a battlesuit
