I don't understand this game... the only things that I read in the forums is people complaining, and ID does not care. And the players are guilty.

I think that there is a damaging lack of transparency on the issue.
I don't see the harm in them releasing information about what they need in terms of processing power, memory, bandwidth, and legal red tape in regards to server hosting.
Maybe free hosting is extremely rare, but if we have no idea how much cost is involved how can we even consider the issue? How can your average gamer "network" with the right people to try and find a host in their area? If free hosting was found, would the QL team still not agree to it? I just don't know what's going on, and I think that if I was in Argentina or whatever, I would be rather upset too.
If they're afraid of something happening by sharing information, can't they state what it is? Why a short sentence given once a month on the status?
I get that they're not legally obligated to do anything, but this is a matter of good customer service and simple human compassion.

You're absolutely right. I've been premium subscriber since 2 years ago. I've encouraged other players to subscribe. Since last november I can only play on Chilean servers with a ping record higher than 180. Unplayable. And that is the best I can have. There is no customer service nor human compassion there
. They may just say "we expect service is back in X months" or "we are looking for a new server". But nothing.
