You can't just assume that everything is going to work 100% all the time. Other games have this problem as well, but since the location of the server isn't always listed, the players don't have an issue with it.

again, that's nrg's fault (argentinian server provider) like it always has been. Id software has absolutely nothing to do with it.

as customer, you can expect things to work because you pay for it 100% of the time.

I've received response that they are currently transitioning datacenters, and are still working on moving everything over. We will update when we receive further word on the status.
