Saving vids on a basic account?

Is it possible to save videoson a basic account? if so could somebody please tell me how?

You cannot save videos at all. You can record a demo (many other games call it a "replay") and then use another program like Fraps or Wolfcam to create a video from that demo.

You can make the game record demos automatically through the in-game options.

so the only way to get cilps is to just use fraps while playing? theres not way that it autosaves games that you can re watch later?

a demo is a replay that can only be watched in-game, not youtube for example, so what you do is recording a demo while playing using the command /record xxx (xxx demo name), then after the game you re-watch it whenever you want (I think the command is /play xxx) and if you want to you can convert it to video using fraps or other program.

recording a demo (while playing) uses 0 resources at all. Fraps destroys your fps, so demos>fraps.

To record demos in-game, you'll want to have cg_autoaction 1.
(You can record the end-game screenshots as well with cg_autoaction 3, but there's no use for them unless you're posting them elsewhere)
