When starting game "Grey screen appears" (windows 7 64-bit)

I am using:
Software:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Hardware:
Lenovo X61 with:
video card: Intel® GM965 ver:8.14.0010.1930
processor: T8100 2.1GHz
RAM: 4GB

Every time when I start a game "Grey screen" appears. I hear the sounds from the game and I hear sounds when moving mouse over menus, but the "Grey screen" doesn' t go away.

P.S. on Windows XP 32-bit the same computer Quake Live runs just fine.
