Match Location Updates

We have added a Washington DC location on a trial basis for Northeast and Midwest players. We are interested in any feedback, especially from players who would normally play on Chicago or New York.

We have also relaunched the Romanian location courtesy of GamesZone.ro.

Finally, we are aware of the Swedish location being offline due to hardware failure, and are in contact with the admins. We currently do not have an ETA on restoration.

Update: We have received confirmation from the admins of the Swedish server that they will not be able to replace the hardware until end of November. We will update this thread when the location has been restored.

I live in Massachusetts, maybe it's just on my end but for DC my ping kept going from 60 to 90.

A solid 32 ping from Toronto.

One question though. Why is Toronto server worse when I live 20 minutes from city limits.

Ran trace route and the server is not even in Toronto.

But New York and Washington are really good.

I haven't tried washington since i'm east coast but I tried chicago and its awesome now

Looks like it is around Hamilton, 69 kilometres from there. Not too far away. It makes sense to name it after Toronto, who knows Hamilton?

I ranger around 40-43, which is better than I ping anywhere else. 50s-60s NY, VA, TO. 60s-70s IL, GA. 80+s TX, CA, WA.

Feels buttery smooth, but I haven't gotten to play anyone on one yet.

DC=VA+~5ms from my location (EU), but it feels much smoother (less jittery on the lagometer too), it's the same route except the end-hops, so it's probably just less load on the server side.

Well I just tried again and now I'm getting 50, which is the same as my other two lowest, VA and NY.

Still wondering why it was so random earlier.
