Chat doesn't work all the time!!!

I hit bind for chat in game once I type my message and hit enter it does not send the message it takes 4 to 6 times before it actually sends the message to the server. Very annoying when trying to talk to someone in game or in spec mode during match. Don't have this problem with my team or say_all binds!

Same problem, and i have problems with say_team binds too like quad soon etc.. and have to press like 5 times, hope there is a fix for this, really gets on my nervs

Bumping, I have the same problem. Do any of you use that command to turn on/off all chat? Not saying that its off when you send the message, just wondering if that could be causing the problem. I have everybody chat on and still cant send.

Also, if I have my +acc on my screen and I try to talk, sometimes it doesn't go...actually...it usually fails to work

This has been reported many times.

I believe it is mostly due to binds still being active when in messagemode typing chat, so anything you have bound is being parsed causing the actual chat to be flood protected out.

It's also quite likely the reason my client only ever seems to crash when i'm chatting.

bind e "+button3;say hi" and then try chatting, any time you try type 'e' you'll say hi too :/

Hopefully they will just cause binds to be disabled when messagemode( /2/3/4/5) are triggered soon.
