are in mind that ID realy wonna stop supporting QL soon.
But as long there are paying players its hard to shut down the servers without any legal consequences for ID.
So the current situation is not the result of any incompetence by ID - its by purpose!
Each thread and post complaining about the current situation confirmes ID's strategy!
But is there anything WE can do against? Keep paying even if it get worse and worse?

I've refused to pay since the loss of all the good maps in the hopeless new format. FFA is the same two maps over and over, one of which isn't even a FFA map. It's disgusting and ridiculous.
Aways ensure you are maintaining a high FPS rate in QL. Otherwise you can be at a big disadvantage. To find out your current fps rate, use the command: "set cg_drawfps "1"".
As long as I like the game I'm going to keep on paying.
Why would they continue development then?

I can't understand why anyone should feel entitled to play QL for free. It's beyond me. ID are not a charity.
