Who should decide the monthly standard map pool ?

i think the actual "quantum cointoss" method is not helping a bit, as it not involves no one here.
imo devs should create a poll a week or two before the "smp" (standard map pool) ends where everyone here, subscribers and non give a contribute the the pool.
they should decide some rules about repetition of the maps like; cannot be consecutively in the pool more than twice or stuff like that...

and what do they earn. Giving more benefits to standard players means less reasons to subscribe.

They earn respect from a good chunk of their player base, and their game stays somewhat populated.

Who cares about people who aren't supporting the game? If u play quakelive for any length of time and dont chose to support it by getting a subscription its probably either because:

a) you cheat and dont want to let your money go to waste in case you get caught some day

b) you're living under a rock in the ocean with 500ms ping it's not a game u play so often, but still play it from time to time to spend time if nothing else

c) You're a cs/lol/minecrafting/wollocraft/whatever else player at heart who just continue to play ql from time to time to see if they added a bayonette, stamina bars, kamikaze nuke nades launcher, dragons or pigs.

d) you're 6 years old with no adults to give you money to pay for subscription.
