Well your first issue is the quality, the quality isn't good. Besides that fact, do not and try and render a video above 30 fps for youtube. If you watch a video at 60 FPS in a local media player such as Windows Media Player, It SHOULD look very smooth. Youtube just degrades the quality and smoothness of a video so there is no point in uploading higher than 30 fps. If you would like to find better settings I suggest recording all the frames (not avi) and using vdub to render at 60 FPS. Then taking that file and rendering it in a program to 60fps (desktop/download) and 30fps (youtube)

If you need further explanations you can find me on #Wolfcamql @ quakenet irc

    Try this way.

    Wolfcam setting

    cl_aviframerate "240" or "300"
    mme_blurframes "0"

    Vegas Seting:

    Project Setting:
    FPS: 30
resampling on. Final render 30 FPS.Sony Vegas best will perform smooth video for 30 FPS ( YT )
smooth 60 fps video for a different story

I have already recorded 300fps without wolfcam`s blur - 300fps vegas resample and resample to 30 in vegas . After another experiment seemed to me that it is better to record screenshots in tga because higher final quality on YouTube, just much smoother video recording at the same settings. 30fps x 20bf tga source - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUKDhVKoYmM. So I decided that I would only work in TGA format.

Now I can not figure out how to change the standard wolfcam hud on the http://visualhud.pk69.com/ - all attempts to search in google gave me nothing, I'll be happy to tip, thanks.

you want to get satisfactory results? test...test...test. I always use jpeg format for wolfcam .why ? there is no difference quality.I test it long time ago.Really. but you look command to compressed Quality jpeg . r_jpegCompressionQuality "100" (0 % -100 %) . 100 % is best Quality.Next argument use jpeg - size. for me it looks like this.

    Resolution 1920 x 1200
    TGA = ~ 7 mb
    jpeg = ~ 1.6 mb - 2.5 max !

    Thanks jpeg is good!
    long fastconfig test - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdouoVlYN9U

jpeg screenshots, 50fps aviframerate ,12 blurframes, 25fps output. 31Gb in hard drive. 3hours 30min of record + 1 hour compression & youtube upload so total time 4h30min for this vid.

According to my experiments, at 25 FPS can be done normal smoothly, and the quality will be more on the frame than at 30fps because YouTube at 720p capable maximum bitrate 3000kb , 3000kb\30 < 3000kb\25.

100 FPS at the same settings do not add smoothness

    100fps 12bf jpeg >> 25fps - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K5rIrUC8UI
    100fps 12bf tga >> 25fps - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2up0r9p4dWY

I have long concluded that the smoothness and quality of the video on YouTube is highly dependent on the map, the lighter the map and the simpler its texture, the easier it is to make beautiful and smooth video. Thus for each type of map requires different configuration settings

But there is a mystery that I was not able yet to solve. Here is a man made a video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=I0LPT5G2JYc , and indicates that the records in 50fps 12bf >> 25fps xvid avi. But I write just like, the same map, and converts the same into the format xvid, but do not get the smooth, as in his videos. When recording method this man, no matter what map, and each receive while looking for the answer to hopefully find.

Possible to achieve a smooth filter is used in Vegas or AE that use depth of field, but I have tried many of them and the result is not achieved.

I asked a this mystic question in many forums for professional video editing, but no one could help me, probably because the video game is not engaged

Gradually I read this thread and read until 20 pages of the 136, but nothing new is learned. I will read more.

something's not right. The same setting and no smooth ?? hmm somewhere you do mistake....

    50 kl, 12 blurframes = 24 % bluredframes/sesond
    100 kl, 12 blurframes =12 % blurframes/sesond

if you want to smoothly, hold on 30 frames

    try this:

    (Test 1)
    100 kl, 24 blurframes = 24 % bluredframes/sesond

maximum setting to wolfcam 32 blurframes yes ??calculate

    (Test 2)

    ??? kl 32 blurframes = 24 % bluredframes/sesond

    .................................................. ..................................
    but you need to know.
Moore % blurframes/sesond = more smooth but more lost quality.
less % blurframes/sesond = bad smooth but more Quality. you need to find a compromise.

sharp textures badly affect smooth. (try r_picmip 10 ) .
try x264 better codec , best codec now.

I will not delve into it very much to 30 fps ( i test 60 fps ) but 2010 year i test 30 fps.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64Vw7...48ZBA&index=20

two test in one video. which is smoother?

    maybe in something helped

I have spent a lot of experimentation, capturing demo at 120-480fps to 30,25 xvid or ripbot x64 and so on, but to no avail.

    I can not understand why?

Man captures video with these settings - 50fps 12 blurframes and now his movie - http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=I0LPT5G2JYc

I just like to capture video and here is my video, but he is not smooth - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdouoVlYN9U

Your video is not smooth enough, as it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u65C-...tailpage#t=70s or is it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShyGj...tailpage#t=49s
I achieve the same smoothness as you have to 30fps, but it's not enough.

    Hey,

    I recorded with these settings:

    seta mme_blurFrames "60"
    seta mme_blurOverlap "0"
    seta mme_blurType "Gaussian"
    seta mme_depthRange "750"
    seta mme_depthFocus "250"
    seta mme_saveDepth "0"
    seta mme_workMegs "7000"

    seta r_enablePostProcess "1"
    seta r_postProcessActive "1"
    seta r_enableColorCorrect "1"
    seta r_contrast "1.0"
    seta r_enableBloom "0"
    seta r_BloomBlurScale "1.0"
    seta r_BloomBlurFalloff "0.75"
    seta r_BloomBlurRadius "5"
    seta r_BloomPasses "1"
    seta r_BloomSceneIntensity "0.000"
    seta r_BloomSceneSaturation "2.000"
    seta r_BloomIntensity "0.750"
    seta r_BloomSaturation "0.800"
    seta r_BloomBrightThreshold "0.313"

Don't know why, but if I put here seta mme_blurOverlap "60", my wolfcam causes an error.

PS. Plus of course 00:00:00,05 blur motion in Sony Vegas

Your video is beautiful, but not super-smooth, not many people know how to make a super-smooth videos, and I do not know how.

blur overlup "60" is useful to establish if aviframerate not less than 120, otherwise it will be ugly. You may set bluroverlup 60 if blurframes with no more than 20 and noaoborot, blurframes can put up to 110 if overlup - 0, bf-100 if overlup 5-10 and so on, but sometimes it is a bug, I run again, or for the third time Strive for playing the demo. blurframes can be installed on any aviframerate 30 and above. I tried aviframerate 60 together with blurframes overlup 105 and 0 for super-smooth video and save hard drive, but significant results for the smoothness of nowhere.

I have not experimented with the Adventure mode, which is a very long, such as 1880 fps (aviframerate blurframes 240 100, timescale 1/12), I have already tested 2880fps >> 30fps without wolfcam blur only vegas resampling - the result was not significant, so I doubt I'll get a super-smooth video, even as it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u65C-b_Jt5M
